OceanGrafix Nautical Charts - About Us

Our Beginning

OceanGrafix was established in July, 2000 after being awarded a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) from the National Ocean Service (NOS), a division of NOAA. NOAA’s goal was to find a partner who could develop a new, sophisticated system to print and distribute up-to-date nautical charts "on demand".

Our Mission:

To provide on-demand nautical charts that are printed and shipped immediately, and are 100% up to date at the time of printing;

To produce charts and other related products that meet or exceed navigational standards and simplify the mariners' tasks;

To utilize the latest technology available for printing, order processing and delivery;

To maintain a strong chart agent network to service both commercial mariners and recreational sailors;

To continually perform research and development toward new, helpful products and solutions for the maritime industry.
