| Description: | Seattle, the largest and most important city in the Northwest and one of the major ports of the Pacific Coast, extends as a densely populated greater metropolitan area from Everett, to its N, almost to Tacoma, to the S, and E beyond the limits of Lake Washington.
Bremerton adjoins the shipyard, and most of the city’s business and affairs are keyed to the needs of the Navy establishment. The city limits include East Bremerton and Point Herron. |
