| Description: | The entrance to Little Choptank River is between James Island on the southwest and Hills Point on the northeast. James Island is subject to rapid erosion. Good anchorage is available in depths of 12 to 18 feet in the bight between James Island and Hooper Point, which is on the west side of the entrance to Slaughter Creek.
