The harbor is frequented by numerous yachts and fishing craft. A prominent lookout tower is near the summit of a hill eastward of The Glades on the east side of the harbor. Scituate Harbor, about 4 miles southeastward of Cohasset Harbor, is used mostly by yachts and fishermen, and occasionally as a harbor of refuge by draggers.
