| Description: | The entrance to Charleston Harbor is between converging jetties which extend nearly 3 miles seaward. Prominent to the northward of the entrance are several tanks on Sullivans Island and one on Isle of Palms, and the Charleston Light. Fort Moultrie and the town of Sullivans Island are on the north side of the entrance. |
