Description:	Neches River empties into Sabine Lake from the NW and extends in a ship canal 18.5 miles to Beaumont. Sabine River empties into Sabine Lake from the N. Orange is a city of some commercial importance on the river about 8 miles above Sabine Lake, and 36 miles from the Gulf.
